The Mortification of Sin by John Owen

John Owen was a puritan who lived in the 1600’s. He was a church leader, theologian and the academic administrator at the University of Oxford.

The Mortification of Sin is a series of lectures on Romans 8 about the believer’s battle against sin.

It is amazing how relevant this book is even though it was written over 300 years ago.
